Following numerous meetings and a great deal of thought and prayer, it is with regret that we announce that there will unfortunately be no Ultimate Event in 2011. Apologies to those who have been chasing us for dates for this year, but we have wanted to explore every possible avenue before this decision was made.
In light of this announcement we would like to direct you to a similar event, Big Church Day Out, where many of the acts from Ultimate 2010 will be performing. Over the summer LZ7 have been working with tens of thousands of kids across the UK to help them shine their light. Now it's time to go public. What we want to say with this is that though life can at times be really tough, though the unexpected circumstances that life throws up at us can at times seem overwhelming, and though we live in a world where we are choked by a media system that leaves us feeling inadequate and lonely, we believe that through all of that Jesus never, ever leaves us. Instead he stands by our side no matter how dark it gets... and because of that, because of Jesus, there is always, always hope.

This year's Ultimate Event theme park and concert tickets and concert only tickets are all Print-N-Go, so please remember to PRINT THESE AT HOME AND BRING THEM WITH YOU ON THE DAY. These printouts provide entrance to Alton Towers Theme Park Resort and are exchanged for the evening event wristbands. Without these printouts, entrance to Alton Towers Theme Park Resort and The Ultimate Event will not be premitted. Each printout will consist of an individual bar-coded ticket for entrance to Alton Towers Theme Park Resort for each guest and a single sheet that details any concert tickets that have been purchased. This sheet is exchanged for concert wristbands. If you have any queries about your ticket purchase please contact the ticket hotline 0870 040 0365 prior to the event.
Alton Towers Theme Park Resort tickets give access to the park only on Saturday 8th May 2010. A special early entrance time of 9:00am is available for Ultimate Event 2010 ticket holders.
A wristband is required to gain access to the concert arena. These are not required to be worn in the park. Wristbands are to be collected on the day, as soon as you pass through the Alton Towers Theme Park Resort entrance turnstiles. Damaged wristbands can be replaced at The Ultimate Event Reception at the entrance to the concert arena at Car Park G from 3:00pm. Lost wristbands cannot be replaced. Evening only guests collect concert wristbands from the Ultimate Event Reception at the concert arena.
There will be two Ultimate Event Reception Marquees where our staff will be available to answer questions on the day. One will be situated at the entrance to the Theme Park Resort, next to the ticket booths. the other will be adjacent to the concert arena at Car Park G.

The past 6 months have been crazily busy for Philippa Hanna having done over 60 gigs and visited 8 different countries. As well as that, Philippa has recently launched the single Ave To Love, with Grammy Award Winning Songwriter Eliot Kennedy.
The video for the single shows footage of her trip to Haiti, with Compassion and she hopes that it will help to raise hundreds of new sponsors for the charity this year.

This is such an exciting week for the !Audacious band. We are in Australia at the Planetshakers conference. This is one of the worlds most incredible youth and young adults conferences. There are over 5000 delegates. The band will be leading worship in the youth sessions. TD Jakes is the main speaker at the conference. Also speaking is Ps John Bevere who will be at !Audacious 2010. As always The Ultimate Event provides you with all the latest Alton Towers Resort news, as we prepare for the 8th May. The launch of TH13TEEN was no exception and during our visit to the park last weekend we were joined by a number of familiar faces!
Following months of secrecy and speculation, TH13TEEN, the ULTIMATE rollercoaster at Alton Towers Resort was unveiled to a host of celebrities including Jonathan Ross, Gail Porter, Sarah Harding, Jennifer Ellison and comedian Bill Bailey. The world’s first free fall drop coaster, TH13TEEN takes riders on a gruelling journey through The Dark Forest, where they will battle the overwhelming force of the woods through a series of twists and turns, before plummeting into the unknown.

What a crazy year so far. thebandwithnoname hit the ground running in 2010, so far we’ve been run off our feet taking the 4 Points tour all over Scotland, getting stuck in to schools across the UK and finishing and releasing the brand new Album.
The Best of thebandwithnoname – The 4 Points, is officially out in April but we’ve already got copies in our hands and it sounds amazing. There are a mammoth 20 tracks with 3 brand new ones including the massive live favourite, “the 4 points”, as well as a storming remix of ‘Get Up’. Following the success of our recent radio promotion, this week sees the launch of our TV advertising campaign, on UCB TV. The radio promotion has received rave reviews to date and we hope that the Ultimate Event 2010 promotional video will receive similar feedback, as its hits the small screen. Focusing on each of this year's Ultimate performers, our new feature, Band of the Week will provide you with the latest action, exploits and entertainment from our truly British line up. This week we introduce a little more from the world of [dweeb] This is what record label Fierce had to say about them.......
With [dweeb] what you see is what you get. And if what you see is four blokes with tireless optimism, endless supplies of creativity and the sort of live show that leaves people smiling for the rest of the week… then you’re on the right track. And if you see a band that are more pumped than ever about their future, who live for the taking of their neon hyperglo and industrial sonic optimism out to the masses, then you’re really on the right track.
All of which is to say that [dweeb] are a good thing. But you knew that already. You knew it the moment you heard that they took part in a BBC documentary a couple of years back. Called ‘Singing With The Enemy’ the four eternal believers had to move in with a XXX rated punk band, write a song and not end up looking either like fools/cult members or nice-but-irrelevant weaklings. [dweeb] more than passed the test.
And with the launch of their new album – Feels Like Dynamite – the smart money’s on a whole load more people finding out about [dweeb] in the coming months.
Tim explains why: “We’re proud of ‘It Came From Out Of Space’ (their last album), people liked it, but there’s no point releasing it again. So we’ve pushed the sound on. Rock is still the foundation, but rather than there being the jazzy, funky elements, there’s now an electro side to it, with some dance grooves in it. You’ll hear something from [dweeb] that you haven’t heard before.”
Produced by the band as well as Mark Underdown and David Lynch (Duke Special), this latest album comes ready-mixed for maximum flavour. And for a band who have opened for big hitters like Delirious? and Enter Shikari and have headlined more than their fair share of upscale popular festivals overseas, there’s more than enough pyrotechnics crammed into the album to make for some truly exceptional live shows ahead.
